1) Stuck on something? Swap with someone else.

Everyone looks at things differently, and a fresh perspective usually helps.

2) Set aside things you’ve already used into a ‘discard’ pile.

We never re-use items, so this helps you know what you still have to use, and avoids distractions.

3) Pay attention to recommend group size.

Each room is ideal for a certain number of players (generally 4-6), and having less can often be very challenging due to the sheer amount of puzzles you’ll need to get through. On the flip side having too many can often cause a too-many-cooks situation!

4) Got a combo lock but you can’t figure out the last digit?

Well there’s only 10 possible combinations (0 through 9) so just try them all! This will shave a lot of time off!

5) Similarly, don’t be afraid to try a combination on a lock!

Even if you're the only person who thinks its right, it’s still worth a shot. You have unlimited goes at it, you don’t need the whole group to sign off on one number combo.
